"Ithuteng" means "never stop learning" in the South African vernacular. It's also the guiding principle behind The Ithuteng Trust, founded in the Johannesburg ghetto of SOWETO and originally funded by Nelson Mandela. The trust's mission: to teach children how to escape a cycle of discrimination, poverty, violence, drug use, disease and neglect that has plagued SOWETO for generations, replacing despair and ignorance with confidence, education and hope.

This is the story of one woman's commitment to redeeming South Africa's Lost Generation, one child at a time.
