LOVE, JOSH documents the life of a fifteen year old who has just lost his father. Josh's mouth quivers as he talks to the camera - he can't believe that his dad, diagnosed with liver cancer six weeks ago, has just died.

For the next year, starting at his dad's memorial service, Josh reveals to the camera, his secret inner world of heart breaking feelings hidden from his family and friends. With trembling lips he speaks about the sharp and intense pain, his disbelief and anger. He talks abut the great emptiness, the shattered patterns of his existence and tries to somehow rearrange the world without his father.

The camera documents Josh's inner life of despair and his outer life of "teendom."

As the year passes, Josh comes to realize that memories are his treasures for they're all he has to connect to his father.
